Is Sims 4 Compatible With Macbook Air

Looking at EA & Origin Web sites Sims 4 requires a discrete video card which is available on 15” MacBook Pro and some but not all iMacs. It is possible to use an external GPU with any modern Mac that has Thunderbolt 3 ports. See this Apple article for more information. Additionally, the Sims programs tend to be very CPU and memory intensive. M1 MacBook Air Sims 4 Compatibility? Not sure if anyone here has tried it, but the M1 Chip for the new MacBook boasts some crazy specs. Apparently its unspecified graphics card has outperformed the GTX 1050 ti. Wondering if it’s good enough for MacBook Air to run TS4 decently well (with almost all the packs but little to no CC).

Judging by this information, it seems that as long as you have enough RAM and free hard drive space, the game should run.
